Somehow richer with more depth than the digital images I produce. The trick must be in the post processing but it's a skill I don't have . Another from the weekend. Paul Reading Posted November 2, 2013 Share #538 Posted November 2, 2013 I love my film cameras,I think that the build quality is better than digital and the ergonomics are better. I also prefer the compactness. However I have looked through all 27 pages and I am afraid this is like The Emperors new clothes. The colour photos here are almost without exception suffering from some colour cast or another. What film has over digital is that it is definitely sharpers I think that for B&W film is better and not just because of the sharpness. For colour I think that digital is now superior. This was not the cause a few years ago but it definitely is now.

Hi Paul, There is a drift in the perception of the image People now prefer digital image where everything must be absolutely sharp in reality this is not the case watch a poppy flower People want also the image immediately and do not want to wait Another problem is in this thread of Keith http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/film-forum/306882-forty-year-old-negative.html for the color film is the reference and I agree with E Puts...and K Rockwell http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/why-we-love-film.htm Best Henry Edited November 2, 2013 by Doc Henry
