M8 & 24mm - Vignetting?

I don't think you will have problems with any of the Leica 24mm lenses although coding will enable the camera to make corrections for vignetting and also, more importantly, cyan drift (if the lens is fitted with a UV/IR filter). The 1.3 crop tends to remove most of the native vignetting (a difference made obvious to me when I use a coded 28 Summicron on M8 and M9) so I'd be surprised if you couldn't use an uncoded Leica 24mm lens (I think only the Elmarit is available uncoded) without problems.

True on M8/M8u/M8.2 as well.

Better use the original coding of Elmar 24/3.8 in my experience.
