pauledell Posted May 26, 2013 Share #3 Posted May 26, 2013 Another outstanding picture with the "Little Gem" camera. I have a D Lux-4 also and it has become my digital camera of choice (even my Nikon D2sx army tank) On the film side, I like my M6 with either the 35mm Summicron v4 or the 50mm Summicron. Paul You have some nice cameras! I shot with the D-LUX4 from May of last year till the end of 2012 until I purchased the Barnack. I'm shooting all film this year. I've been contemplating getting a M3 for the past few months, but I really love my two IIIf's. Unfortunately, I'm going to send them out for a CLA (as soon as I save up) because they've developed bad light leaks
a.j.z Posted May 26, 2013 Share #5 Posted May 26, 2013 The background alone would have been very good but with the horse and rider it gets excellent.

After repairing the flaws, your old veteran cameras will make as good pictures as the high priced digital camera. It is the photographer that sees the great images and makes the decisive moment. The camera is just your tool.
