ganzosrevenge Posted April 18, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted April 18, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is this place good? I see LOTS and LOTS of leicaflexes and I just want to make sure that they're legit. (I've sort of had my eye on a very early mk1 leicaflex) Â Jason

acordes Posted April 19, 2013 Share #2  Posted April 19, 2013 If you speak about them: https://www.leicashop.com/ Westbahnstraße 40 1070 Wien, Österreich than you are on the sure side - I know them, from direct shopping not online and really can recommend them. Ciao Axel PS See this in front of the large 'used' part of the shop: http://www.axel-cordes.com/Blog/Untitled/14416789_2TxvLX/16/1395106767_JvKPkpD

stephen.w Posted April 19, 2013 Share #6 Â Posted April 19, 2013 I've bought from both the physical and the online store - they are great to deal with, grade their equipment accurately and will answer any questions you have very promptly. The only thing is their second-hand prices are quite a bit steeper than they were when I first used their site about 3 years ago. But as I said, the service is first rate. thighslapper Posted April 19, 2013 Share #7 Â Posted April 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bought lots from them. Â Grading is conservative and the items are usually better than I expected. Â Prices are also pretty reasonable compared to others and ebay listings. Delivery quick and reliable. Â If they have something you want I think you can buy without any worries...
Niko Posted April 27, 2013 Share #8 Â Posted April 27, 2013 Yes, they are good. No problem if you are not happy with what you bought, you can even return an item if you simply change your mind. Â "Your purchases from us are free of risk: If an item does not meet your expectations, or if it has a technical deficiency, simply send it back to us by air within 14 days after receiving it and you will promptly be refunded, no questions asked." philipus Posted May 1, 2013 Share #9  Posted May 1, 2013 Once bitten twice shy !!!  Did you have bad experiences with Leicashop, Ivan? Surely it is not Leicashop's fault if someone forgets to claim tax refund.  I have only had good experiences with Leicashop. The things I have bought from them have been conservatively described, ie been in better condition than described, and shipping has been very quick (intra-Europe). They are also quick to reply over email and don't mind phonecalls either. In particular I have found Jo Geier very helpful and knowledgeable about their screwmount stock. They also ship things very quickly. Most recently I bought a Coolscan 9000 from them which arrived extremely well packaged.  I see they now offer free worldwide shipping of orders above 500€.  Philip

Surely it is not Leicashop's fault if someone forgets to claim tax refund. ...  Indeed I have had and it had nothing to do with Tax Refund. .. Too long a story and I've no desire to go into it once again and it has already been discussed (in length) a good while back, sorry Philip.
philipus Posted May 3, 2013 Share #12 Â Posted May 3, 2013 No worries Ivan. Thanks for explaining, I appreciate it. I had missed that discussion. Â Best philip
