lagrassa Posted July 6, 2013 Share #7 Posted July 6, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Any issue with the EVF-2 mounting on the camera interfering with a screen protector?
JayGlaze379 Posted July 6, 2013 Share #8 Posted July 6, 2013 None this time. Seems like they learned from the 5. The port for the EVF on the 6 is slightly raised, so you can put even fairly thick screen protectors on and still use the EVF.

jpattison Posted August 16, 2014 Share #10 Posted August 16, 2014 Thanks, I am now very happy with the EVF-2. It works perfectly! Hi, Are you sure you have the EVF-2? Leica UK say that it has a differently positioned connector, and doesn't work. Thanks, John

jcraf Posted August 20, 2014 Share #13 Posted August 20, 2014 I picked up a mint used Leica EVF3 (aka Pana LVF2) for my DLux6 late last year, and I find that it really transforms the shooting experience with this little gem. The only downside is the added bulk, but I can live with that.

Are there any drawbacks? Thanks Thom I have the Lumix viewfinder on my DLux 6 and it is great. Transforms the camera and it is all I use now. I only use the screen to review.
