CalArts 99 Posted April 13, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 13, 2013 There are several interesting blogs out there. Here are a few: I Still Shoot Film http://limitedunlimited.nl/ http://www.realphotographersforum.com/content/ (also with some digital content) tokyo camera style They tend to be about images (as opposed to solely technical stuff) and from those you can also link to other sites. btw, many commercial photographers here in Los Angeles have embraced film. Some are previous film users who went to digital and then have gone back to film, and are mixing film with digital. Many are photographers who never used film but are now discovering its useful to add to their repertoire. Offering film options to clients has increased their presence in a competitive market. fwiw, this is a website to a series of film workshops that also helps commercial photographers work their business around using film again (or for the first time.) Film Is Not Dead Here's their blog: A Workshop by Jonathan Canlas - Film is Not Dead There's some interesting stuff going on with using film these days, at least in major metro areas. It's fun to observe because it's as though film is now something entirely new (which of course it is to those who grew up on digital only.)
