leffe Posted April 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 4, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) The embedded date on the camera screen is correct, but in Lightroom the embedded date is 10.02.1988. Do you have the same issue?

BerndReini Posted April 4, 2013 Share #3 Posted April 4, 2013 That might be the date stamp of the video technology implemented in the camera minus the Video 8 tapes.
mjh Posted April 4, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 4, 2013 Apparently the create and modify dates in the QuickTime container are not actually set. The movie dates back to 1988, the track to 1973, and the media to 1904.
algrove Posted April 5, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 5, 2013 I am trying to remember when I first set the date on my M if the year started out at 1988. Too late now to know for sure. Maybe it was another device. Perhaps new M owners can confirm this. If the M starts out at 1988, then could that start date of 1988 affect video differently than stills? theno23 Posted April 5, 2013 Share #7 Posted April 5, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) It starts out as 200x from memory. I've noticed the date thing. Also I get _AUTO_ISO written in some of my metadata, quite annoying. - Steve

Archiver Posted April 7, 2013 Share #11 Posted April 7, 2013 You mean it's not 1988??? I was looking forward to Michael Jackson's new album, Bad, and seeing whether Kathy Ireland would make the SI Swimsuit issue cover. I would also be doing exams at school, so maybe this missing time isn't so bad after all...
