Current Turn-Around for Lens Coding (in New Jersey)

I'm sending two of my lenses to Leica's New Jersey facility to have 6-bit coding applied. Can anyone who's already followed this process suggest how long I should expect to be without these lenses? I'm imagining it might be six weeks, given that they're probably rather backed-up with this work.

Thanks!

I sent in two lenses to Allendale about March 7 (just before PMA) - the repair sheet I got back quoted 3-4 weeks. They are not back yet, but if Leica gets them to me by the end of next week (April 6) that will have been 4 weeks and a couple of days.

Mine were older 1980s lens types rather than recent production - we'll see if that makes any difference.

Interesting about the 50 lux ASPH - I wonder if they just ran out of coded mounts for those, and decided it was faster to remachine them directly than to wait for a new batch of mounts, or whether they've been doing those lenses that way all along.

I sent my 2 gems in for free coding and received them back, round trip, in about a month. It would seem that there is variability based upon the model of lens, given reports here. The 28/2.0 goes to Universal Studios Hollywood tomorrow!

I sent my 21 in at the end of January and have not seen it yet. Each time I call they say it is on the bench and that it should be soon. This is my 3rd week of being told this. They did tell me that I should send in the rest of my lenses towards the end of April and they should be caught up by then. (Just like they told me I would have it by the weekend... but which weekend I forgot to ask):(
