allamande Posted March 29, 2013 Share #1  Posted March 29, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) And I decided to test my new LX7's macro mode. So far, it looks too soft to my eyes (compared to what I used to get with my DL4). This is at 1.4 which the old DL4 did not have. In this frame, the focus was set on the round edge of the second petal from left.  Any thoughts and/or your own experiences with this camera (especially on macro) would be appreciated.  Welcome, dear visitor! hsw Posted March 29, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted March 29, 2013 Ece, really lovely image. That is indeed the LX7 summilux look at f1.4. I like it. Stop down and it gets very sharp.. You know I love macro and I find the LX7 quite capable for a pocket camera. Close focus distance with W/A zoom setting is 1cm! Â Henry
allamande Posted March 30, 2013 Author Share #5 Â Posted March 30, 2013 Paul, Dee, and Henry, Â Thank you for looking in and giving me feedback. I appreciate your time and your thoughts. Â Henry, thank you for your experiences with the camera. It helps a lot. I need to experiment more and get to know the details. So far, I like it very much, it's definitely several steps up from my old DL4 (except for the cheapo buttons ). Â Ece
