Wonderful picture, Wilson !! How is the using of the EVF with the 280 ? Your results make me confident... :) I have great hopes on my 280 when will have my M... your pic shows that even wide open the 280 can perform fine : I will be curios to verify (as soon as I will be able... :o) which exposure times one can afford with the 280 HANDHELD with Televit and the Amedeo adapter... with the Visoflex, all the button/arm/mirror mechanism makes risky even the 1/500... without those gear I hope things can be better, which coupled with the capability to use, in the mean, higher ISO settings, can make the set much more enjoyable.

Handheld photos are not recommended with the 280mm f/4.8 Telyt. Not so much for the camera shake during exposure but because camera shake makes it difficult to focus the lens on the Visoflex screen. Further, after long spells of holding the lens fatigue sets in and the results become increasingly blurred.

When I first had my M8 I tried out my lenses in turn and went out on a spring day without any support for the Telyt. As luck would have it, I stumbled across this scene of sex and violence in the avian world; two mud-bespattered, male moorhens (Gallinula chloropus) fought out a savage battle for the favours of the female, who looked on benignly. As you can see the photo (taken at 1/360s) definitely lacks the sharpness that has been so ably demonstrated in this thread when the lens is properly supported.
