Pico,

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

I just wanted to say: of course any decent video-cam or DSLR could have been used to shoot this, BUT I'm posting in the Welcome section of a Leica forum about how I'm pleased with the possibility of shooting video with the new Leica camera with my Leica glass...I think that's with-in reason?

I know you're a veteran of this forum and have contributed much to it, but I just don't understand the tone behind your comment.

In any case, no hard feelings I hope.

I'd have to disagree with Pico's comment. I believe that lighting was wonderful throughout the entire video. The nice soft mood was perfect in my opinion. I'm curious to hear what specifically did Pico dislike about your lighting choice?

At any rate welcome and good luck!

My comment was, perhaps, unkind but I am one who loves cinema very much and am not in the slightest bit enamored with hardware for its effort. I do not appreciate shoe-horning an idea into a particular vendor's hardware. When you have complete control of the subject, then whatever it takes to make it so is most important, whether it be a $99 camera or a full-production $250,000 a minute venue.

I make no exceptions for staged cine.

Take it somewhere where people care.
