Ivar B Posted March 18, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted March 18, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was looking for a 24mm viewfinder for my M9 and came across a 24mm viewfinder originally designed for D-Lux 4. Â This viewfinder looks ok to me - but does anyone know if 24mm is valid with respect to full frame sensors or if there is some adjustment in view due to smaller sensor on the D-Lux? Advertisement Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Hi Ivar B, Take a look here Leica 24mm viewfinder D-Lux. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted March 18, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted March 18, 2013 The D-Lux will be a "24mm equivalent" lens, so I can't see why the finder wouldn't work for a real 24mm on any M.
peterbengtson Posted March 19, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted March 19, 2013 It works fine.
MarkP Posted March 19, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted March 19, 2013 Agreed. I have the D-Lux 24mm optical VF from when I bought my D-Lux 4. Â I now use it with my 2.8/25 ZM Biogon on the M9. As it's an occasional use lens it was good not having to buy a new and expensive 24/25mm optical VF
NZDavid Posted March 19, 2013 Share #5 Â Posted March 19, 2013 Should be fine. Of course all accessory finders are not 100 per cent accurate at all distances so coverage should always be treated as approximate.
macrobernd Posted March 19, 2013 Share #6 Â Posted March 19, 2013 I use the D-Lux 24 OVF along with my 3,8/24 elmar. It works fine for longer focus distances. For shorter distances you will get experiance after some photographs.
