I have tried two different copies of the 80-200 with a Leica R-L adapter (ROM) on CL and SL2-S.
I have noticed that the exifs are not correct: the exifs show 178 mm although the lens is at maximum focal length (200 mm).

Has anyone else noticed this problem? I have also tested a R 35-70 f4.0 and in this case the exifs were correct.

Many thanks in advance

Same here for my Vario-Elmarit-R 80–200mm f/4 ROM.

Must be some kind of quirk – maybe Leica copy & pasted the exif info from the LEICA VARIO-APO-ELMARIT-R 70-180 mm f/2.8 ?

I have almost the same with the Vario-Elmar R 4/80-200 ROM, but it seems FL are right but not aperture (saying f/9.5 instead of f/8, or f/5.6 instead of f/4)

I did not notice similar gaps with Vario-Elmar R 4/35-70 though.

Not critical to my eyes anyway, since I have estimated exifs when using 3 cams non-ROM lenses.

Regards,

Stef.
