vmo67 Posted March 30, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted March 30, 2007 Are you using a tripod to shoot this type of work or are you re-adjusting in PS? It is very straight! I could never stand that straight any more. Great color, what camera did you use and what lens?
jmr Posted March 30, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted March 30, 2007 Stuart, Ivan, Mike, Â thanks for the kind comments. Â It's Dunham Massey House, a National Trust property just south of Manchester. Here's a link to it. The park is splendid and the Edwardian mansion is wonderful. Â Stuart, amusingly, given Andy's Huguenot ancestry, the place contains a great deal of Huguenot silver - I wonder if he knows? Â Mike, the shot is hand-held and was straightened a tiny amount in Photoshop. It's only a C-Lux shot I'm afraid, nothing fancy. It was taken on around 70mm equivalent and what you see is just the top half of the original frame. That way I could avoid tilting the camera and the resultant converging verticals. Â Thanks again.
