lesh Posted July 22, 2006 Author Share #2 Posted July 22, 2006 Seems to have lost something in the downsizing, maybe this is better.......
jmr Posted July 23, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 23, 2006 Les, a deceptively difficult shot to pull off. I find that my D2 sometimes struggles to capture what I see when taking shots of fine branches etc. The problem is exacerbated when the image is downsized for the web. stuny Posted July 23, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 23, 2006 Les - A most pleasant scene, enhanced by almost everything having a green cast to it, offset by the clay-rich earth.
macos Posted July 23, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 23, 2006 Les, the pics really transmit the mood of the location. How did you manage not to be eaten up by the mosquitos? I remember that we had some related experience there, therefore your photo tours could have been a real adventure ... BR Marc
biglouis Posted July 23, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really like the detail in this picture. Very pre-raphaelite if you know what I mean. LouisB
lesh Posted July 24, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted July 24, 2006 Louis, Marc & Stuart, Thanks, appreciate your taking the time to look and comment. Not quite Jurassic, but the closest thing locally to a primeval forest, with some big old oak trees. Fortunately, on the day, the mozzies seemed to be elsewhere, so only a couple of bites....
