01af Posted February 15, 2013 Share #21 Â Posted February 15, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) In terms of purely spatial resolution, the M Monochrome sure will be superior to the M (Type 240). Â But then, colour does add information. So in terms of visually apparent resolution, it might be a tie ... or maybe even an advantage for the M, depending on the image content. But when converting the M's colour image to black-and-white then the M Monochrom's output clearly will be better, despite the lower pixel count. MirekE Posted February 21, 2013 Share #23 Â Posted February 21, 2013 I guess I was not too clear. Â I am sure all lenses you can use on an M9, can be used on the M. In addition with the R adapter all R mount lenses. Â Now my question is that are there other lenses you could use on the M9, which you can now with the M with suitable adapters considering you now have live view and video functions? For instance, movie lenses etc. Â Biogon C 21. The new sensor design optimized for wide angle lenses plus LV/EVF could make this lens interesting.
