folke_k Posted November 5, 2013 Share #168 Posted November 5, 2013 i have used many cameras over time, but my clear favorit beside Leica is Nikon F4, a camera with great ergonomics and very rugged, plus i am able to use a wide range of lenses of mf age (i have plenty). Second is Contax RX. Nikon FM/FE are great cameras too, like Nikon F2 (used these since 1980). When it comes to light weight equipment i use Olympus OM, mostly OM 1 or OM 2SP, my wife mostly uses these (does not want to carry a bag full of bricks as she says about my Nikon and Leica), but i think they are falling back due to the finder, it is dark compared with Nikon and Leica. Peter_S Posted November 6, 2013 Share #170 Posted November 6, 2013 - Fuji GF670/Bessa III - Contax T3 Both offer outstanding weight/size to image quality ratios (particularly the T3), and are a joy to use.

earleygallery Posted November 6, 2013 Share #172 Posted November 6, 2013 I have an F2, I don't often use it but what a camera! All this talk about the new Df, I wonder why Nikon didn't take a long hard look at what made the F2 so great and design their new camera around that.
