Alexander Charles Posted January 30, 2013 Share #1  Posted January 30, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) An Afghan laborer with his fellow workers at the fruit and vegetable market in Abu Dhabi. This particular gentleman stood out from the other workers, who were mostly from India. I was struck by his enormous presence and protective nature. Some artistic license was used by adding the gritty 'prison' nature of the scene.  Taken with M9, 35mm, 1/250sec, f1.4, ISO 160. Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted January 30, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted January 30, 2013 Alexander, Â A great shot. The gritty grain works well with this picture giving it the feeling. Â Paul
Jerren Posted January 30, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted January 30, 2013 I think this one has potential. I like the gritty feel, but not the sepia toning and border. I think it can be a strong image without those things.
