Actually, your TriX does have a scratch function (see 1st pic) ;)

Couldn't resist that. Sorry.

 

Otherwise, great pics.

I too have retreated to film and BW does not scan scratch free. Re-learning my PS skills at 'touch-up'.

As much as I scratch Tri-X, it still does not smell like BBQ beef ribs:p

 

I've managed to keep watermarks and dust under control by using a homeopathic dose of Photoflo in distilled water for a final rinse. Scratches are the next target. I think theses occurred when I sleeved the negatives as I only handle the negs by the edge and the scratches are more noticeable on the first frame of each set of six.

 

It is a shame that these is not an easy way to get rid of scratches in LR4.
