pauledell Posted January 24, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2013 Charlie, A fine picture but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. From the perspective, it looks like the man on the right is actually in a poster in the window. There is an interesting similarity between the man in the laundry at the left and the man at the right. They both seem intent on listening to their pocket MP3 or cellphones. Great composition, tones and sharpness. Paul

topoxforddoc Posted January 24, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted January 24, 2013 Dear Paul and Bernhard, Thank you very much for your comments. I did try to frame this as a pair of images within each shop window frame. The man sitting in the laundrette on the left mirros the pose of the guy in the poster on the right. Best wishes, Charlie
robert_parker Posted January 25, 2013 Share #5 Posted January 25, 2013 Nice sense of irony which is often a key component in good reportage and well seen and timed. B+W seems to be a good idea too as it allows the viewer to focus on the key elements and maximises the link between the man in the launderette and the poster figure, without the distraction or differences that the use of colour might have brought about.
