stuny Posted January 22, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted January 22, 2013 Bob, K-H, Tim and Paul. The cafe is under an overpass of Park Avenue at 42nd Street. The overpassroad continues around Grand Central Terminal and the MetLife (formerly PanAm) buildings before returning to street level at 46th street

Northwest Wanderer Posted January 23, 2013 Share #7 Posted January 23, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice image Stuart. I really enjoyed your stating that Grand Central is a Terminal. Many only know it as being called a Station which is not technically true.
stuny Posted January 23, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted January 23, 2013 NNW - Thank you. I think some of the people calling it a station are reacting to hearing TV and radio adverts long ago in which an address was Grand Central Station, which is the post office just north of the terminal on Lexington Avenue.
