Rolo Posted March 25, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 25, 2007 Is the ice really that colour? Amazing. Couple of years ago I had this same revelation when a frien of mine produced blue ice images. Take a look at his website to see how it can be treated - http://www.thelightandtheland.com/ Regards, Rolo
hsw Posted March 25, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 25, 2007 These are very dramatic and capture the tru-blu color of glacier ice very well. I like #1 for the juxtaposition of colors; #2 has a bit too much overexposed sky; you use the foreground well in the last to give perspective to the massive size of the glacier. Cheers, Henry

stuny Posted March 25, 2007 Share #8 Posted March 25, 2007 Fragnière - 2 is too washed out depriving us of the wonderful glacial colors of the others. 1 is a very nice counterpoint of the colors, clarity and details dropping off as the distance increases. 3 is drop-dead gorgeous in every way. BTW, you can see more dirt on the sensor in that shot. 4 is lovley, and only pales in comparison to 1 & 3, but maybe it could use a little bit of post processing for a touch more saturation and contrast.
