It appears to have an amazingly high quality of construction, as do the others that I have from this period (3.5cm Summaron and the 9cm Elmar) The optics are quite good too ;-). I thisnk it pays to have these cleaned if you intend to use them, as most by now have haze present. I think the Summitar at some settings can give my Summicron 3.5cm f2 a run. These old lenses from the 50's have a definite character, and this does not necessarily mean 'soft'. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
