andybarton Posted June 24, 2006 Author Share #2 Posted June 24, 2006 Hey! If you're quick, you can even remove the uploaded image and replace it with an even better one! If you have one...
andybarton Posted June 25, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted June 25, 2006 I have looked at this one again this morning I definitely has a 50 year old feel to it. I am sure you couldn't take this with a modern lens - maybe you wouldn't want to!
Guest Bernd Banken Posted June 25, 2006 Share #4 Posted June 25, 2006 Hi, looks a little bit like Mystic Seaport. By the way, I love wooden boats... Regard Bernd
gareth_c Posted June 25, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 25, 2006 I like this a lot. It has a 'feeling' to it that I can't quite define...all a bit chilling (that might be too strong).
jmr Posted July 2, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 2, 2006 Andy, I like this shot, it seems to have a dreamy quality, I guess because of the softness.
andybarton Posted July 2, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted July 2, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Cheers for the comments guys. The lens has a look all of its own, in my limited experience. I've not seen an output on the old forum similar to it. The more I use it, the more I like it. Not for everything, of course, but I can see that it might have its uses. andybarton Posted July 3, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted July 3, 2006 Ron It was developed in T-Max developer almost exactly as described on the bottle. I tend to cut around 30 seconds from the development time

meatboy Posted July 3, 2006 Share #14 Posted July 3, 2006 Andy, I can also "see" the age in this photo, its quite surprising, I am curious as to roughly what year is your Summaron ? Also - I like the image, good composition. Tim
gepetto Posted July 4, 2006 Share #15 Posted July 4, 2006 Nice capture Andy. It really works vertically. It adds to the dramatic feel for me.

wda Posted July 5, 2006 Share #18 Posted July 5, 2006 Andy, you have achieved very shallow dof for a 35. Had it been my picture I might have been tempted to perk it up a bit in curves. But that might destroy the softness you favour. David

But that might destroy the softness you favour. David David This has already been "darkroomed" and is where I want it to be. It was probably taken at f4, hence the shallow dof.
