soo Posted November 17, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) What is a 1930's Leica in good condition worth these days? My cousin's husband just died and he had one. I haven't seen it and don't know its condition but, if it were in good condition, can you give me a ballpark figure to tell my cousin? Thx
Advertisement Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Hi soo, Take a look here 1930'S Leica. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted November 17, 2012 Share #2 Posted November 17, 2012 In a word, no. Value depends on so many factors it's really quite impossible to tell you anything without knowing at the very least which model it is and the condition, even then one could only say very approximately. However it is against forum rules to post valuation requests, because quite frankly, they are meaningless without a personal inspection. There is plenty of information about the older Leica's on line and you can get a feel for the values by looking at completed auctions on ebay as well as Leica dealer websites showing secondhand equipment for sale. Failing that, look up your nearest Leica dealer and pay them a visit.
