Have not found definitive answers to these questions, if someone knows that would be great:

1. How fast is start up time ?

2. Can the X2 use the same half-cases as the X1 ?

3. Can the olympus VF-2 be used on the X2 ?

4. Can the X2 use SDXC cards (e.g. 64 gb) ?

many thanks in advance

1. Normal

2. I think so, because the size is the same, only the X2 have a larger flash mount.

3. Yes, I have tested it.

4. I read some ware that the max is 32gb? I use several cards with max 8gb, if there is a

problem with a large card, you don't have any pictures, so buy more cards of 8gb.

1. Quicker than it takes to get the camera in position.

2. Yes

3. Definitely

4. Don't know

I only know a couple of the answers because I bought a mint used X2 yesterday. And in the shop I tried a second hand Olympus VF-2 that had just been sold (darn it), and then a Leica EVF2, and they both work exactly the same, but I think the Olympus finder looks better. I walked out the shop with a chrome X2, leather half case, and EVF2. Its a nice camera, and the image rendering is superb, much better than I expected.

I will do extensive testing, but my first few snaps indicate it certainly has that Leica special quality
