Andy,

Do we email image to you or if not could you please advise where we post our entry? I assume the usual restrictions of 1024px max dimension and 302.7KB applies for a JPEG.

OK, ladies and gentlemen

As per the instructions that you will all have downloaded and memorised... ;) you have until 1st November 2013 to send me (The Organiser), your one best shot from the 36 (max) that you took on that afternoon.

Please send them to me at

luf @ andybarton.com

with "Wetzlar Challenge" in the Subject Line

They MUST comply with the Forum rules, re dimensions and file size (less than 600kb is OK, since I pay to be here) and if you could remove ALL EXIF data, before sending them to me, that means I do not need to do so and therefore re-save your jpgs

Please include your name (as you entered into my book), so that I can set up an appropriate score sheet

Good luck to everyone!

PS - Here's one of John, taken with his own Noctilux.

May I suggest an additional idea? I think it would be nice to have a thread in which we can upload our runner-up-images, you know, the ones that we did NOT pick as our challenge entry.

Of course, it wouldn't be a good idea to upload a very similar image. ;)

What do you think?

Hmm! Thanks Andy, I wondered where the Noctilux got too! You might have cleaned the lens first. Just few too many spots, or is that me!

I will be racing to get an entry in as I don't arrive back in Australia till Oct 29 pm. Need to fast process films and scan, if there is anything! Nothing like a bit of pressure to raise the performance. It's been awhile.

Just arr. Munich. Venice in a few days.

Can't wait to post few pictorial 'replies' to some of the previous posters. :D
