pico Posted April 8, 2017 Share #62 Posted April 8, 2017 Having three Leica and three fake batteries, I keep them all charged and I'm happy enough. I do not take 1000 pictures a day, so my strategy works. (fwiw, I have 110V in my vehicle to charge two at once.) Enlighten me, what does one gain by shooting 1000 pictures a day? . If you have wedding with five hundred guests at wedding where married couple should be pictured with each guest it is 1K easily. You might not have them in Winona, but we do have it in Greater Toronto Area.

Xavier Posted April 9, 2017 Share #69 Posted April 9, 2017 3-400 shots is decent. Which knock offs did you buy? I recently also had a good experience with a knock off battery. I got this one, and it gave me significantly more shots than my other batteries (I would say around 300, but maybe not 400; also, it did not seem to evaporate over night when I mistakenly forget to switch the camera off like the other batteries do): https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B002ZDTK1A/ref=pe_386181_40444391_TE_item (sorry, link in French, but I wished to show *exactly* what and where I purchased it, as there is, uh, no brand on a "knock off"...) JohnnySeven Posted April 9, 2017 Share #70 Posted April 9, 2017 When shooting on-set stills I've had days where I've shoot 600 clicks and gone through 2 or 3 batteries by lunch. Then the same from lunch to wrap.
Lancashire Posted July 4, 2017 Share #71 Posted July 4, 2017 I use 3 batteries that cost me 14 quid each and they have been great.
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted July 5, 2017 Share #72 Posted July 5, 2017 What an entertaining thread. The biggest cost of OE parts (whether that be photographic, motor vehicles &c.)? The logo on the outside of the packaging
