Hi all, I hope I am in the right place for some advice off of the experts. I have been fortunate to have been left with a selection of old cameras from my late uncle who recently passed away, they are all in pristine condition and I would like to get them valued but as you can appreciate I do not want to be given incorrect information from someone who is trying to get on over on me. Therefore would anyone be able to give me an idea of what each item is worth? Thank you in advance Dennis

As the FAQ says, we don't do valuations on this site. With a few exceptions, the value of an antique camera is what someone else is willing to pay you cash for. Look ar Ebay, but not the prices that are "buy it now" or "gokevin..."'or "photoarse****"" but actually what people sell for. Do some research and don't expect big bucks

Welcome to the forum, Dennis !

As said above, this isn't a place for evaluations... but, having looked at your pictures, there are surely TWO items that are of specific interest for collectors :

1) A Zeiss Hologon camera, which looks rather complete (it has a hand grip, and ought to have also a special gradual filter - darker at the center - to fit in front of the lens. It is a not common ultrawideangle camera, with a famous lens.

2) A Leicaflex of the so called "MK I" version : the first reflex from Leitz, complete with a standard lens of excellent quality (Summicron 50 f 2) and also (seems to me, in another picture) an Elmarit 135 f 2,8 : not rare items, but appreciable and of no negligible value, highly dependent on conditions.
