40mm f/2 Posted October 30, 2012 Share #21 Â Posted October 30, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) A small 40mm f2.0, a 21-24mm Shift lens (no tilt necessary) and a 135-150mm Macro (tilt would be good but too much weight penalty).
Advertisement Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Hi 40mm f/2, Take a look here What NEW lenses would you like for the new M?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cirke Posted October 30, 2012 Share #22 Â Posted October 30, 2012 Sorry, I have to ask, why 43mm? it's the diagonal of 24x36 and the most natural view with a 43 mm I shall sell my 35 and 50 Summilux
Tonki-M Posted October 30, 2012 Share #23 Â Posted October 30, 2012 buy a 35 lux asph FLE, and mount it on an M8, u'll be getting 45mm. that's pretty darn close

jaapv Posted October 30, 2012 Share #25 Â Posted October 30, 2012 I whave no inclination to buy the Apo-Summicron 50, but I would have a hard time resisting an Apo-Summicron 35....
toyfel Posted October 30, 2012 Share #26 Â Posted October 30, 2012 I whave no inclination to buy the Apo-Summicron 50, but I would have a hard time resisting an Apo-Summicron 35.... Â that's what I thought too
mtomalty Posted October 31, 2012 Share #27 Â Posted October 31, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) In other words a tilt/shift normal lens in a small package. Leica just made one for the S so they obviously have the expertise to do it. Â As far as I know, the new 120 tilt shift is a rebranding of the Schneider design. iedei Posted October 31, 2012 Share #28 Â Posted October 31, 2012 a 'cheap' Noctilux. $3k. 50mm F1.2 resurrection! (will never happen...lol)
efreed2754 Posted November 5, 2012 Share #29 Â Posted November 5, 2012 My missing interests for M are close up and telephoto. R lenses are much wider and heavier; less interest in 90 macro. Â So....perhaps a 100 macro and 180 3.4 apo, both sized to M, meaning thinner and weighing far less than R counterparts. Then how about an M APO double extender? Â These are nice additions to the usual M lenses IMHO as rangefinder's effectiveness seems to tail off after 75mm. Â Thoughts???

swamiji Posted November 5, 2012 Share #33 Â Posted November 5, 2012 Boy what a collection of silly lenses... Well I might as well add mine... Â 35mm Noctilux.
farnz Posted November 5, 2012 Share #34 Â Posted November 5, 2012 Teleconvertors: 1.4x APO-M (1 stop) and 2x APO-M (2 stops). These would help with travel kits. Â A universal APO-M Elpro screw-on adaptor (for macro/close focus shooting). Â Pete.
jaapv Posted November 5, 2012 Share #35 Â Posted November 5, 2012 1.4 might be difficult, as it would have a protruding front element. I am still looking at the options of converting the R extenders to M.
