salvatore Posted March 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) All the M8 I've seen on internet (never see one in person) are shining new cameras, but the M8 is mainly a photographic tool. So many of the M8 are being used, and abused, everyday in hands of pros. I'm tired of mint M8 used like a jewel, show us your scratch and wear off M8s... I want to see real tools with marks a scars. Sorry for my bad english.

Than I gonna be more belief all of talk;) blasko, i think everyone in this forum realised that you have a problem with the m8 in particular and even more with the people who bought or are going to buy one, so don't you think its time to take a rest rather than posting it under every thread you can find? @salvatore, sorry but mine is still too young for scratches
fotografr Posted March 17, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2007 Personally, I much prefer brassing along the edges to scratches. Wonder if Leica will ever make a black paint M8?
James Mitchell Posted March 17, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2007 This is a very useless post, don't you think? It has nothing to do with photography, only with whim. You don't have an M8 and want to see one abused? That sounds like a fetish.
salvatore Posted March 18, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted March 18, 2007 I think this post has one interesting thing... Is true that leica users are only collectors? Or perhaps are there real photographers with real tools and real jobs? And yeah, is only a whim... but if you think this post is useless simply go to others more interesting. blovitch Posted March 18, 2007 Share #8 Posted March 18, 2007 If damaged cameras are your thing try this.... http://www.leica-camera-user.com/digital-forum/11811-r9-dmr-damage.html THe R9 was quickly repaired in Solms and returned to me with the Damaged Top Plate that I have mounted on a wooden plinth as a little reminder of a memorable occasion. Lode Posted March 18, 2007 Share #9 Posted March 18, 2007 Ifotos make by M8... Than I gonna be more belief all of talk;) Ferenc, here’s a photo taken by a dead M8. They sometimes come alive at night and fly around in the world. I found it this morning in my fireplace. For a dead camera the image quality is remarkable, in spite of the magenta issue.
