I could be wrong, but as I understand: Apparently it actually requires changes to the Core support (to allow DNG files without de-mosaicing) not just a camera RAW updated - I'm hearing Christmas time :( - I also understand that Leica sent them the information long before the launch of the camera, so I think it's Apple being slow.

 

The good news is that it WILL be supported.

I've no idea on the technicalities of what's needed, but as you say, the good news is it will be supported and not long to go 'till Christmas.

Surprised to hear that Leica sent out the info - it's great that they did though. Without our preferred raw processors even the best cameras are practically useless and confined to jpegs before they are supported!
