Advertisement Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Hi stump4545, Take a look here Monochrom and Aperture 3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cliffm Posted October 12, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted October 12, 2012 Almost certainly eventually. Apple is slower to update raw support than adobe, seems like.
stump4545 Posted October 12, 2012 Author Share #3 Â Posted October 12, 2012 based on the history of aperture, what is a good guess on how long? Â any day, 2-3 months, 6+months? Â i prefer not to have to run LR. Â thanks
edmond_terakopian Posted October 16, 2012 Share #4  Posted October 16, 2012 any clue if or when aperture 3 will ever support files from the MM? thanks  No idea but it helps to write to them and ask for the feature through their website - not the support forums! I wrote a couple of weeks ago asking for the camera to be supported. Fingers crossed!

jonoslack Posted October 16, 2012 Share #6  Posted October 16, 2012 HI There  I could be wrong, but as I understand: Apparently it actually requires changes to the Core support (to allow DNG files without de-mosaicing) not just a camera RAW updated - I'm hearing Christmas time - I also understand that Leica sent them the information long before the launch of the camera, so I think it's Apple being slow.  The good news is that it WILL be supported.  all the best

Surprised to hear that Leica sent out the info - it's great that they did though. Without our preferred raw processors even the best cameras are practically useless and confined to jpegs before they are supported!  Keep Well,  Edmond
Mr. Doug Posted October 20, 2012 Share #8 Â Posted October 20, 2012 I have given up on DNG support from Aperture. Raw files from the Fuji X-Pro1 still aren't supported.
