I saw a bunch of these hiding low, on a trail at Yosemite (Tuolumne Meadows). I don't know what they are called (and they weren't in my book). Maybe John would know.

DL4 macro (handled the sun well, I think).

Dear Friends, Michael, Stuart, Paul, Gianluca, Sum+, Lawrence, Iduna, Mike, and those who gave a thumbs up,

Thank you for looking in and for your generous feedback and comments. I appreciate the input very much. These were so tiny that I could have easily missed even seeing them. But I am glad I was taking my time, looking deeply. I feel I was rewarded in the end :)

The DL is a marvel when it comes to macro (among other things).

Gianluca, it is a delight to hear from you and I am grateful that you made the journey! I miss seeing your work. Stay around.

Ece
