Könnt ihr mir Tips geben, auf was ich Acht geben muss, wenn ich meine Leica R 50mm 1:2 zerlegen will? Ich habe Pilz entdeckt. Gibt es vielleicht hilfreiche Anleitungen? My understanding is that Solms is very touchy indeed about having any fungus infected lens anywhere near their premises. At least contact them first! I don´t know exactly which version: It`s a 50mm 1:2 Summicron. I got it for about 500 Dollar. Solms? Is it a Leica repair? How about the costs? Active ingredient thymol is antiseptic, it will inhibit or kill fungal spores if kept in same confined space as your equipment. Google search provides multiple references, here is one.. I've never had fungus on any of my lenses, but it was my impression that fungus in a lens grows oner months or years, not hours or days. Gienauer Posted November 19, 2012 Share #13 Posted November 19, 2012 There is another method to kill the fungus, if it is not very great: Put the lens into an oven, than heat the oven for round about one hour to 80° Celsius (not more!) and let it cool down. The fungus will be killed and can not grow further, but the dead fungus is still there. You will not see him at the picture. I did this with a Telyt 350, but everyone will do this on his own risk.
