In the middle of Manhattan there is a small, but beautiful park called Madison Square Park.

Some of Manhattan's loveliest architecture surrounds it, and walking through it brings a level of serenity to the hectic mix of daily life in New York.

This is how one of the more interesting buildings looked, to me, a few days ago.

Jeff,

you've caught a beautifully soft, shimmering light here - very nice.

JR

thanks.

Late winter days often offer some really beautiful opportunities to capture fading or refracted light in NYC.

Jeff -

Terrific shot of that building, with lovely colors, light and details. I'll bet your squirrel is in Madison Park, too, which is of course near most of Danny Meyers' restaurants. I have a day and a night photo of the same building on the 1st and 4th New York photo gallery pages of our site, both shot with D2. Have a look

Thanks Stuart,

your right I caught the squirrel and took this pic within minutes of each other.

My wife and I have drooled over your site and the wonderful places you've been.

I look forward to that cup of coffee.

cheers
