Pete, you are right (as usual;) ) about the SWB: this is not one. The rear window is a dead giveaway...

I think you are not correct that it is a 330GTC though. The dash doesn't look right, nor the hood and fender line.

As I was writing "250SWB", a little voice in the back of my head was saying "Berlinetta Lusso"...It must have been the racing numbers that threw me off. Now I'm thinking it must be the Lusso, the most beautiful 2+2 ever made. IMHO, of course...:D

Cheers, David.

Neither SWB nor any of the 330s : 250 GTL, aka, as one said, "Berlinetta Lusso" , superb design by Pininfarina (who retained the first as his personal car): absolutely distinctive of this model : the small instruments IN FRONT of the driver, and the two large ones at the center, gently inclinated towards driver.

The Lusso has long been my favorite due to its exquisite beauty. It has been five years since I've seen one (on the Plaza in Rockefeller Center, along with a number of other vintage lovelies).

Good grief, don't you people know your Ferrari's? It's a Lusso. Instantly identifiable by the speedo and tach in the center of the dash. 1963 or 1964 I think. Excellent book by Kurt Miska on this model. I always lusted after this one. Much more refined than my 250 GT (that I owned years ago).
