jaapv Posted September 15, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted September 15, 2012 Beautiful composition and atmosphere. However, if I may mention some technical critique. focus is on the leaf behind the flower and it appears there is some clipping in the red channel. HeinzX Posted September 15, 2012 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 15, 2012 Hello jaapv, Â thank you for your remarks. As far as clipping is concerned, in fact there is no, the slight grey impression of some pieces of the blossom is a real thing of this kind of rose. It is correct, that the focus is not exactly on the blossom, my intention was to have a soft blossom and a sharp thorn and to stress this contradiction. Perhaps this idea was not the best one. drdannn Posted September 26, 2012 Share #8 Â Posted September 26, 2012 As long as the photoshopped version is obvious, which this is certainly, then I don't mind it being an 'image'. Insofar as that goes, you did a great job at image making and it's worth you signing it!!
