I once gave my wife a Ferrari - I decided I liked the Porsche better and decided my wife could tolerate the Ferrari.;)

And let me tell you how much I appreciated driving your wife's Ferrari. Sorry about the transmission and the nicked fenders, but the Gold Coast was really frantic that night, and she was just crazy. I had never driven in that position before, but got used to it eventually.

If you ever need a new wife, I can try and fulfill that roll. Sounds like she's got it made in the shade.

Steps of being your wife

1. Convince you that you want something that I actually want

2. After you purchase it, convince you you dont want it anymore

3. Take item and enjoy

4. If item is unsuitable, exchange

Dude, you walked into this one!:D

Once an (Leica) addict, allways an addict!

Don't even try to leave this mistress, - she always wins!

Next time you get an ailment/bad feeling/sickness that you want to buy something other that Leica, - just come to this forum, aka your sponcer, and we will keep you on the strait path!:D

Really it depends what you are using your camera for. I love my leica's and also love using my nikons. It really depends on what you shooting. As an example I enjoy shooting air shows and for the life of me can't see using my M9 and a 135mm lens where I need a good telephoto lens and a fast reflex. Although I must admit, I haven't found a better combination then Nikon and Leica R lenses. The R 350mm f4.8 and a Nikon D700 has been my go to combo at the air shows. Yea, I also carry my M9 and a 35mm with me for human interest and grab shots.

Yesterday I went out and bought a new Nikon D800e for myself after getting poisoned by some of the Photo Malaysia guys. Anyway after charging the the battery and screwing on a lens I took a few shots in the house and proceeded to the bedroom and asked my wife if she wanted a new camera? Without any comment from her I put the D800e in her bag and she is now a proud owner of a new Nikon..............for me I just want to shoot Leica

crazy or stupid????

Well done for having 'loadsamoney'. Hasselblad have a camera you'd love but they don't supply it in pink basilisk skin just yet, maybe give them time and a hefty advance..............
