Einst_Stein Posted September 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) If Zeiss really want to surprise the Leica M world, make a digital Zeiss Ikon. Better yet, add the AF capability and an optical zoom-able range finder, like Contax G, and a zoom lens like G 35-70mm, ..., no, make it 24-90mm or 24-135mm. earleygallery Posted September 8, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 8, 2012 Or just buy a DSLR or 4/3rds camera if you want AF & zoom.

tobey bilek Posted September 11, 2012 Share #5 Posted September 11, 2012 I will use my nikons thank you. Pro ones are all heavy beasts and to hard to move with. Bought digital Leicas to move with.
dickgrafixstop Posted September 13, 2012 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2012 G2 digital clone sure looks like the XPro1 - with it's own set of foibles. Zeiss - or rather Mr. Koboyashi at Chinon - sees a better market making lenses for Nikon/Canon/Pentax and M's than to waste time on a limited appeal camera body.
