I just used my 30 percent discount to order a 50 lux. I guess I just don't like the idea of knowing that one day in the near future, a $2,000+ lens is going to be sitting on my doorstep for several hours until I get home from work. Or even worse - for a few days, if I happen to be sent out of town for work. Â I wonder if there is any way to make sure they require a signature for delivery. Â This is pretty scary. If at least they would warn you that the lens is coming you can wait for it. I'm still sitting on the fence, but I would love a Noctilux. About how long is it taking from letter until delivery?  Lisa, I think it is highly variable, and depenent upon lens supply. I received my confirmation order letter from Leica, dated March 3, 2007, and my lens has still not arrived (Noctilux). If you track you credit card used, once the transaction is posted, you should have the lens within a week.  That is the best I can offer, and like you, I am waiting on the lens.
