Hi- For the M8, there are both, I got the chrome for the same body. Just got a chrome M6TTL, it's not clear that both are available, B&H seems to have just a black one for all the M bodies "except M5". Is there a chrome one available for the M6? Thanks....Peter

it looks great. I like the smaller size and the chrome design matches the chrome body quite well. Also, I was surprised that the rapidgrip appears to not be a single piece including base plate, while the ML grip does. Thanks....Peter

Thanks Peyton- I ordered one. My only concern is that the screw locks the grip securely enough. Talking to the fellow who makes them, he says the friction created by the overall fit and the rubber along with the screw really holds firm. Is that your experience? thanks again....Peter

How does the ML grip feel with medium-smallish type hands? Do you hold the grip with two fingers or three? My concern is that with three fingers on the grip, it might be difficult to reach the shutter with the index finger. Thoughts?

I use an ML grip on one of my M6's.

My experience with the ML grip is that my index finger is first knuckle on the shutter release, middle finger is on top of the grip and wrapped around, ring finger on and around and little finger just catches the bottom of the grip with the inside fingertip catching under the bottom plate.

Very comfortable and steady hold. As soon as I've got the spare coin I plan to replace the Leica M grip on my other body with one as well as the ML is a full bottom cover and has less flex with a 75 Lux mounted.
