bondipix Posted August 20, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all. I have just produced a pdf book of my current work and you can download it from: Jon Lister Photographer In Safari just right click on the link "pdf download" and when complete view in Preview @ fullscreen. Why is this relevant here? All the photographs were shot with my 5 year old M8 and 28mm elmarit asph. Enjoy! Cheers, Jon

chalkdust Posted August 20, 2012 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2012 I like your style. I like these images. I had to chuckle thinking to myself that my father would have said, "That guy tends to underexpose." This is very effective.
bondipix Posted August 22, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted August 22, 2012 Thanks for the comments - always welcome. Feel free to pass it on to others who might be interested. It is always a pleasure to share photography! If anyone viewed the pdf on an iPad or similar tablet, I would be interested in knowing how it looked. I didn't design it for that format but am curious.. Cheers everyone, Jon

Zipy2691 Posted August 27, 2012 Share #7 Posted August 27, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Jon, You use of available light is soooo refreshing. And those blacks !!! It put those liquid colors at the center of the picture. They are the real subject of your composition. Inspiring !!! Yves West Palm Beach FL (Under TS Isaac as we speak...) satijntje Posted August 28, 2012 Share #9 Posted August 28, 2012 Very nice shots indeed! I like these "dark" images, they are special. Not for everybody, as my wife would say "underexposed", but these pics have a unique character! Keep up the good work John (with a "h")

Jaybob Posted August 30, 2012 Share #11 Posted August 30, 2012 24. Martin Place, 26. George Street, and 40. Martin Place are some of my favorites, but the whole thing is very impressive, as is the rest of your site. I'd LOVE to see those histograms.
