Advertisement Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hi elansprint72, Take a look here Wasdale #1368. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Rolo Posted March 12, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 12, 2007 Pete, thanks for bringing back the memories. Climbed all the hills in the distance looking for photos. There's a great spot just to your right, rocks in the foreground and looking down the dale. Is that No.1369 by any chance ?? Excellent camp site at the end of the lake and another by the pub at the head of the valley, but with no facilities except for ale on tap. andybarton Posted March 12, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 12, 2007 O - oh... not been up there this year yet... I can feel some carbon footprint coming on... We should have an iWalk® up there some time.
andybarton Posted March 12, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2007 Excellent camp site at the end of the lake and another by the pub at the head of the valley, but with no facilities except for ale on tap. There's a public lav there too... I have one of my shots taken from Great Gable on the wall in our bedroom. I'll bore you with it again, if you carry on. elansprint72 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted March 12, 2007 Rolo, Before you came along, Lord B and myself bored the forum half to death with shots from this valley; it must have more opportunities than anywhere I know. If you have some- I'd love to see them and I'm sure that many others would too. Good idea for a wander round up there, m'Lud, we have not sorted out the Lost Boys Liverpool date yet either. andybarton Posted March 12, 2007 Share #7 Posted March 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the invite... I wouldn't normally do this, as linking to stuff that's been posted before is a bit boring, but I really like this shot. (Of mine ) I will have to scan and process it again. I've learned a lot in the last two years. You had to be there...
