Shame she can't keep still long enough to have a proper portrait taken... 60 Macro-Elmarit at f4 and about 12" Hope this comes through OK

andybarton Posted March 12, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted March 12, 2007 After having been to Crufts today I avoid small dogs whenever possible. Good idea. Mostly yappy little beggars, although ours is of a breed that is bred not to bark. Which is good. Do they just let any old Tom, Dick or Steve wander about and take photographs? stunsworth Posted March 12, 2007 Share #9 Posted March 12, 2007 Andy, yes you can wander about and snap anything you like - certainly no one tried to stop me yesterday. The dogs that are to be shown are kept in small pens, so it's easy to find something worth snapping. I only stayed for about three hours, I began to think I was taking the same snaps again and again. If you have an interest in dogs it's well worth going (a bit obvious really ::-), and they had a section where there were examples of every breed. Some very odd looking muts in that part. And yes, one of the catering stalls was selling hot dogs ;-)
