Advertisement Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Hi Ivan Muller, Take a look here Perhaps I should replace my X1 with this...?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dave.gt Posted July 24, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2012 A tank? Is this a GAS problem? Otherwise, what are you looking for in another camera? Apples and oranges comparison, IMO, but it could work for another set of requirements other than what the X1 satisfies. How well would it do what you need? Personally, I no longer do sports, action, etc. and my documentary work is very well covered with the M3, R4, IIIF and the X1 for color. Just match your tasks with your tools. Only you know which will work best for you. Good luck.
bill Posted July 24, 2012 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2012 Dave's spot-on. Whatever floats your boat. Personally I think you are trying to compare apples and aardvarks. Regards, Bill
Keith (M) Posted July 24, 2012 Share #4 Posted July 24, 2012 A more relative alternative might be the new Canon EOS M.
stephen.w Posted July 27, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 27, 2012 By all accounts its a great little lens. If I were a Canon SLR user, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it -- especially at the price point. As the others said, not an X1 replacement though.
