There's a magazine called Rangefinder. If you can find it, it's worth reading, to me.

Photography News | Imaging and Photography Magazine - Rangefinder

No. Save yourself the trouble. Rangefinder News is not about rangefinder photography. I received it on the day job for free because our department was incorrectly targeted. I read it every time looking for content. Time wasted. Look at this crap.

And their online Rangefinder Magazine is no better. Their statement "provides a look into many of the popular digital single lens reflex cameras (dSLR) commercially available and rates them accordingly. "

I would reccomend after this forum Welcome to ReidReviews

Lots of very good information for about $30 per year and written by a man who knows what he is talking about.

Ah. I guess they have changed directions, then.

If I was going away I would have a good read of Soul and Secrets by Erwin, free on the Leica site and a few books on photography.

If you haven't got them already I might order a few back issues of LFI too

I can't comment on the book personally but I am looking forward to reading Erwins Lens Compendium, I have just obtained a copy from a forum member

I would suggest web browsing for rangefinder info. I ALSO second the ReidReviews recommendation. It's the best $30-something I spend on photography each year! Reid is a photographer, of course.

The web is just about the most pervasive publisher one can find.

If you prefer Leica, then LFI is the only choice. It can even be downloaded now on you iPad...

Forums, blogs and such abound but I think you are looking for a magazine about rangefinder cameras. You can also pick up archived copies, enough to keep you busy on the oil rig for quite sometime.;)

I would recommend not trying to find a rangefinder specific magazine but a decent photography magazine. There are a million rangefinder links on the internet, all of which confirm stultifying prejudices in favour of rangefinder photography, where it would be a whole lot better to get out into the bigger world of photography. A hard copy magazine worth subscribing to would be 'Black and White Photography', it does what is says on the cover, or via the internet you can have a rollercoaster ride of contemporary photography with

and be sure to check out their 'links' to other sites.
