AJB Posted July 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 13, 2012 That is a massive gap. The back plate on which the screen is mounted, should overlap the top plate by about 1.5mm and be a very tight fit. He says it wasn't like that when he shipped, but the box showed no sign of damage. Is this something that can be repaired locally? I bought the camera to use on vacation next week and prefer not to return or send to Leica. The camera works fine. It looks like two screws are loose under the hot shoe.
