So I try to ask my qustion in english: Has anyone experince in using the summicron or summilux 75mm at the R-D1 and what can he or she report about this combination (because it has not the 75 frame)? lct Posted March 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2007 I just own the 75/2. Great lens indeed. High sharpness but high contrast as well, so beware of blown highlights. If you like the 50/1.4 asph, you'll like the 75/2 as well. Needs a 1.3x magnifier to be focussed at f/2 with the R-D1. Without magnifier, f/2.8 is the normal limit IMO. Not too difficult to guesstimate the 75mm FoV within the 50mm framelines with a bit of habit. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

j. borger Posted March 9, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 9, 2007 Focussing the 75 summilux wide open close up is hit and mis with the R-D1 ... i kept my 75 lux in the closet mostly till i got the M8. Funny thing is i never had problems focussing the Noctilux on the R-D1 ......... the rangefinder baseline is just too short to focus the 75 lux consistently however! Stopping down to f2 or backing up to about 1,5 meter makes a whole lot of difference! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
