steve kessel Posted March 8, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 8, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today we had glorious sunshine. Took this at lunchtime, a back street very close to where I work, Victoria coach station ahead. D-Lux 2. Happy springtime from Steve.

arminw Posted March 8, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 8, 2007 Shame it's so overexposed , because we did have a nice blue sky today and it would have been great to see that in your picture ....
ECliffordSmith Posted March 9, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted March 9, 2007 Steve, Â Nicely composed and you have juggled the very large contrast between the sky and wall nicely.
steve kessel Posted March 9, 2007 Author Share #5  Posted March 9, 2007 Pete, Armin, Ed  Thanks for your comments. I was trying to get detail in the wall which is in shade with the sun ahead and to the left. I fiddled with exposures but any blue from the sky was at the expense of a blacked out wall. I thought at the time I may be overcompensating but felt the light effect was interesting, although not everyone's taste.  Steve
