Advertisement Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Hi carylwithay, Take a look here bird close with my ew camera. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted June 17, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted June 17, 2012 What did you do with that shot, Caryl? there is something funny going on with resolution and contrast.
carylwithay Posted June 17, 2012 Author Share #3 Â Posted June 17, 2012 I cropped it and did my usual contrast and sharpening adjustments. I do not see what you mean. I do see noise on the background but i thought the bird was fine. I do have vision problems in old age so maybe that is why I am so happy with the camera. I cannot see problems!. jaapv Posted June 17, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted June 17, 2012 It looks abit pixellated on my screen, but my eyes are not the youngest either... The rest that I see is probably the in-camera noisereduction, on consideration.
Tullahoma Posted June 18, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted June 18, 2012 I think the bird is just a bit oversharpened. I have encountered that in some of my cropped images. Â Jim N.

carylwithay Posted June 20, 2012 Author Share #8 Â Posted June 20, 2012 Her beak was that color. yes, a bit oversharpened. The camera seems to break up at 100% but anything smaller is fine. Caryl
